Neumuenster- the horse country Schleswig Holstein is getting closer to a great event: the VR Classics from 16. – 19. February will again attract national and international high-class riders to the Holstenhallen in Neumuenster. Amongst many others the European Champion Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (Sweden) and the five time Olympic winner in dressage Isabell Werth from Rheinberg are interested in the 62. edition of the horse show in the Holstenhallen.

The VR Classics take place on the grounds of the Holstenhallen with five halls and several stables. Riders from up to 20 nations are heading towards the event, which is endowed with 240.000 Euros. One of the highlights is the Reem Acra FEI World Cup Dressage, which is taking place for the 26. time in the Holstenhallen. It is presented by the VR Bank Neumuenster and the Bausparkassen Schwäbisch Hall. And after the eigth leg of the World Cup in Amsterdam the interest in collecting points for the final is getting even bigger.

The Austrian Victoria Max-Theurer wants to be a part of it, just as the vice European Champion Laura Bechtolsheimer (Great Britain), World Champion Edward Gal (Netherlands), the team vice European Champion Helen Langenhanenberg (Havixbeck) and former World Champion Nadine Capellmann (Würselen).

Next to this, the starting field for the international competitions in the show-jumping course is just as great: with Rolf-Göran Bengtsson who is situated in Breitenburg, Ludger Beerbaum (Riesenbeck), Pius Schwizer (Schwitzerland), Denis Lynch (Ireland) and Gerco Schröder (Netherlands) five riders from the international top
ten list will compete in Neumuenster.

Furthermore the titleholder of the Mercedes-Benz Cup, presented by Süverkrüp + Ahrendt – Gert-Jan Bruggink from the Netherlands will try to defend his title, and as it is well know this rider is never slow....

High-class sport from Thursday untill Sunday comes along with a great exhibition. About 70 stands from all kinds of branches: fashion, accessories, tack, animal feed, horse trucks and of course a variety of gastronomical offers. The exhibition halls 4 and 5 offer dozens of possibilities to stroll around, go shopping or just relax infront of the huge video wall, showing a livestream from hall 1. Furthermore hall 5 accommodates a huge training arena and parents can find the childrens’ corner to entertain their little ones. Hall 3 is another training area for riders.
